Well, that can be a good way to get more people into your military, assuming it pays for the degree and it is a degree that can be used in the field of military work.

It is not like you don't need programmers and can't develop a lot of very specific stuff you use in house without decreasing security and giving money to greedy subcons.

Oh the US military can if you work it right, pay for your masters with little to no money out of pocket.
It gives us...134 credits of TA, not including any grants like Pell.
We also get CA, which is for certification things like that for computer stuff.

I know plenty of people who have left the army and gone into either civilian or contracting and are using certs and degrees to get good jobs.
Multiple supporting the military in ways from computer IT to teaching officers and stuff.

The military gives soldiers more then enough to get a degree in a field they want, and can help them get an internship while transitioning out of the military to get the experience.

There is a lot they can do

But the thing is there's a billion people there see if you look over south of them, you know why India is so chaotic.

A billion people is kind of hard to govern with a democracy.

It doesn't mean that India won't eventually find its way it's just that.

Consider a company wants to build a new port facility, but there's houses in the way.

Well an authoritarian state just declares imminent domain, and moves the people then they build the port.

Ironically in our world, the state that does that is the United States.

China has a problem with 'nail houses' you really think it would be the other way around but no, China apparently has better private property laws.

It's kinda both, mix freedom and authoritarianism you get a large country that functions well.

You don't really think that you're actually voting when you vote on those electronic voting machines now do you.

It is of the Army alone and everything is true about what the Russians can do. Basically the Russians being competent. The army operating without AF, Marines, Navy, without support from the doctrine the US prides itself on.
Basically if the Army fought without combined arms.

Remember, Desert storm estimated 10k casualties on the first day, 20k by the second.
