OK, how's this for a What-If:
-----Transformers in 40K-----
Autobots are part of the Tau...possibly even the Farsight Enclaves
1. How well does that relationship work? Is it hidden?
2. What vehicle do the main Autobots transform into?
Decepticons are part of the Imperium because...of course!
1. What happens to them if/when they are discovered?
2. What vehicles do the main Decepticons transform into?

I suppose my first question would be exactly which version of the Transformers the Tau are contacting since their abilities do fluctuate somewhat between eras. G1, basically Marvel comics or the 80's cartoon, were typically limited to a single altmode naturally and couldn't change on the fly the way Bayformers could as an example.

/tg/ already did it, albeit their version interwove things further. By which I mean, there's a massive battle between a temporary Autobot/Decepticon alliance of convenience and a Great Crusade armada commanded by the Emperor Himself fought on Cybertron.
Also working, transforming conversions.

Would Unicron be one of the Ruinous Powers in this scenario? Would Optimus be able to repel or even destroy great Daemons with the Matrix?
I don't know that I'd make Unicron a Ruinous Power simply because I was imagining the Transformer's Sparks were something a bit anathema to the Warp. Thus, the Matrix held by Optimus would be a major benefit against the Ruinous powers and their minions.
