So @Abhorsen answered my question : that we don't have a watch thread. So I did as he said the most libertarian phrase anyone could think of : "feel free to start one".

My recent purchase is an automatic AVI-8 Flyboy. The company is British-founded/linked (2012) but is Hong Kong-based (the only other place in Asia where you want your watch to come from besides Japan and maybe Taiwan) AND has the speciality of making pilot and pilot-like watches (be it automatic, manual or quartz battery) that don't cost a fortune and tend to have more often busy designs that I enjoy, which is the total contrary of the taste of @The Whispering Monk  :

Another purchase of mine is a Pobeda that celebrates/celebrated the Sputnik satellite :

This one instead is an automatic Poljot (apparently limited to a 1000 pieces, mine is 808) for the KA-50 helicopter pilots.

I have a Seiko 7S26-3060 SKX425 like this but black.

I will post now but these were my first purchases :D

Contrary to what you're saying @TheRejectionist , I'm a fan of these as I don't consider them too busy. Though the KA-50 one does pretty much fit that bill to me.
I think I might have confused you with someone's response.

This was a graduation
And you're buying Chinese...so... :p
Hong Konger  The brand is very transparent about their production.

Also I didn't buy this :

That's my...red line :ROFLMAO:
I've never been a watch guy, but I think this one is really cool looking personally.
Me too, the design is actually great...sniper style and all the numbers (some watches have like no numbers or 4 out of 12). Also the material seems very resilient.

@The Whispering Monk though I do remember now that you sent me a suggestion for Texas-made watches somewhere.

@Abhorsen A review of my watch (not that's not me XD) in case you are interested, excluding the shipping and the customer protection of vinted (5/8 euros approximately) I got it for a 100, the prices look like 285 for new excluded shipping.

I will admit this an interesting piece, I would buy but not from China itself, but only from someone who has in its collection before it became "trendy" to own them, likely before it the opening of China (1980s/1990s) but it would be risky even then. Not to mention the Red star, even compared to pre-1989/1990 Vostoks is much more evident than those watches.
Another interesting piece I found and not bought :

I would like to own it but I wonder.... where the fuck this watch has been or gone to have a certificate it is not radioactive???

Who are those faces, btw?
1) Sadam Hussein
2) Again
3) PLO's leader Arafat
4) The last King and Queen of Egypt
5) SAME as above
6) Nasser, the one who overthrow them with US back with Operation FF, Fat Fucker
7) Egyptian President Dictator Mubarak

This a very distasteful list of watches, the kind of watches they would have to make me pay to wear or hold in my house🤣

First two are short form and third and fourth are long form.

TLDR : History of one of (if not the) the most prestigious watchmaking companies in Italy.

This one is nice but the price tags for it online are absurdly pricey :

One automatic military watch I bought, from Vinted, from a seemingly now defunct Spanish watchmaking company, called Atempo (which, funnily enough, in Portuguese, Italian and Spanish pronounced like that it sounds "Have Time" or something predetermined).

This a numberless Vostok with a VDV insignia that looks engraved o that I didn't buy, I did like it but not to spend 70 euros on a "touristy-ish" watch , even if it was automatic :
