Trying to figure out if these are racially-charged bombing threats targeting HBCUs because if I recall, incidents like that happened back in the post-Reconstruction days.

It's probably a hoax but assuming it isn't, it's probably a group like BLM trying to run an op or as Monk said. A Fed

You have to remember the sheer amount of crazy people out there. Even mid-tier YouTubers experience semi-regular death threats.

I honestly doubt much of anything will come of it.

Quite frankly bomb threats are overrated - if not merely because most people dumb enough to try are more likely to blow themselves up than successfully make an IED.

The fact that majority of the HBCUs in the South were targeted bothers me.
