Apparently despite being literally neutral for decades now, and despite being literally demilitarized also for decades now, your two large neighbors, the Atlantic Federation and the Eastern Imperial Alliance have decided that all of these pesky border nations aren't neutralized enough.
THANKFULLY your country is so small, neutral and demilitarized that no one is talking about neutralizing and demilitarizing your nation yet. They're going to target those bigger, thicker, and juicier countries to the South first while still treating you like pals and allies, probably in an effort to gaslit you into not being so neutral.
There are a wide variety of volunteers eagerly willing to participate in defending Gallia... or perhaps in fighting Gallia's potential enemies. Regardless of their motivation, these units differ from Mercenaries in that they will be subordinated more completely into Gallian military structure unlike the mercenaries who still operate under independent contracts. Volunteer Battalion Equipment is thus de facto owned by the Gallian Armed Forces.
Also while Mercenaries can gradually replace both lost vehicles, weapons and personnel over time, Volunteer battalions can replenish personnel (and personal equipment like small arms, motorcyles and civilian vehicles modified and otherwise) faster then Mercenaries. It will take a far longer time for them to replace heavy equipment such as tanks, IFV's, APC's, mechs, and military robots. Very sad. 12. Purifier Battalion:
A battalion of very stable volunteers. Violently non-ideological, moderate extremists and aggressively apolitical, these jaded, traumatized militants have come to Gallia to safeguard what they feel is one of the last bastions upholding a radical political tradition seeking balance and avoiding radical shifts in ideology and society. Wanting to conserve such tradition, the Purifiers will eagerly aid Gallia in their defense, burning away the scourge of political radicals and ideological identitarians.

250 Pyro: Very stable soldier equipped with a powerful custom flamethrower, a secondary Rainblower which has concussive effects including deflecting incoming projectiles, and a shotgun for close range work.
60 M132 M132 Zippo APC: Armed with a Napalm Flamethrower, it might seem like a bad idea transporting infantry in a flamethrower vehicle filled with fuel but since all Purifiers wear fire resistant full body armor, it's just as likely they'll walk out of the flames looking really cool which is worth it.
50 M67A1 Zippo Tank: A modified M48A2 Tank that not only has a flamethrower that can service targets over a kilometer away but is also fully amphibious so not even the water is safe from them. Also equipped with an M2 Heavy Machine Gun.
20 Inferno Self Propelled Cannon: Lightly armored long range self propelled gun that can fire incendiary shells. An entire battery can engulf large areas in a firestorm for a short period of time.
