The Phule
The Phule on the Hill
So, something I’ve noticed is that, as debate seems to settle around one minority, another one is pulled out of obscurity to debate about.
For example, most recently transsexuals were pulled out of obscurity to be the subject of new rules and recognition as a strange new centerpiece to the endless debate between American rights and American left.
I’m frankly wondering who’s next? Will Furries fight to achieve recognition by law? Unlikely. Will BDSM relationships try to be legally recognized? I think that conventional marriage covers many forms of that. What about plural marriage?
Will it be our old fight and common blame magnets the Jews? New comments from many right wing sources seem to imply growing distrust and mainstream acceptance of antisemeticisim. But this is coming from both the left and the right… as is support of Jews. Particularly feeling last towards Israel are complex to say the least.
no, I think that the next group that will be bright to light by our political system as part of its bread abs circuses program is ‘plurals’. I’ve been seeing signs that they’re becoming more prominent, especially on media produced by artists and writers of the left. They’re gradually growing in prominence, and likely will soon either be attacked by the right, or aggressively waved like a banner by the left until the right is baited into attacking them.
and then the whole game begins again and politicians on both sides start focusing on plurals instead of the things that really matter to either side.
