It's how XF defaults things. We could template edit it to remove the Home tab but it's not really worth it, and in future we might have a seperate home page and then Home would go there.

Yes, my intention is to ultimately have a separate home-page. In fact, we might have a separate one relatively quickly, I just need to get around to creating the content for it.
