The Hive (Destiny) vs Orkz & Tyranids (Warhammer40k)

The Hive from Destiny with the Trifecta leaders (Oryx, Xivu, Savathum) go up against the Orkz and Tyranids in 40k.

The Hive forces are all at their peak, the other factions in the 40k verse still exist but the Hive are purposely focusing on exterminating the Orkz and Tyranids and will prioritize them over other hostiles like Imperium or Necron.

The Hive win if they remove the Tyranid and Ork infestation from the Milky Way galaxy, they lose if all their brood or all three main Gods die.

The Tyranid fleets alone dramatically outnumber the Hive. The Orkz themselves are endless in their numbers, although a good deal less united which the Hive could capitalise on. Taking would be the Hive's ace in the hole, but I do remember some old lore where Khorne tried to muscle in on the Orkz (as, you know, war is his thing) and got the shit beaten out of him by Gork and Mork as a result.

Angering the Ork Gods to the point of their intervention is not a fight Oryx can win.

Irc High End statements vs High End statements the forces of Oryx are said to be infinite.

And the thing is even if that was true it only means that the Hive would be able to general a significant amount of Ascendant Hive God's because the more they kill the closer to godhood they become.

You'd have millions of planet lvl God's on the ground.

Taken works on Vex who have molecular manipulation on a planetary scale, Oryx also has Taken a Wishing Dragon.

I don't see any Orkz resisting and unless Gori and Mork can enter real space not much they can do.

Doubtful Oryx has slayed Worm God's, him being in real space kinda makes him untouchable to all the God's out there
This isn't including Xivu's hax manipulation that lets her win battles before they happen by conceptual manipulation or Savathum manipulating other factions to fight on her best interests.

Hang on, is this 'current nid forces in 40k' or literally every tyranid?
Because its heavily suggested there's at least an entire galaxy's worth of biomass in Tyranids outside the galaxy, possibly more than that even.

I tried Destiny 2 and I can't say thet I was impressed with the yieldes, and since it is a MMO shooter/RPG I doubt they have that much in terms of large scale weapontey and fleets.

Correct me if I am wrong.

Bungie is historically shit at translating lore into gameplay, alas. There is impressive stuff in the lore itself. For example, the Taken King himself would leave Cthulu whimpering in terror.

So of course, Bungie has six randoms kill him off in a raid...sigh...

@Scooby Doo Scoob, me man, me thinks you need to do more vs. between Destiny and Crysis. ;)

Now THAT is an understatement if I ever heard one!
FloodLore: Unstoppable zombie parasite mutant things that can reshape reality to it's will, canonically can persuade ANYTHING without limits to join it's side, might as well be considered 'god' for how overpowered and unbeatable it is.

Flood in game: Basically space zombies that Vietnam war era Americans could beat with trivial ease. Canonically stranded in deep space by a dumb gorilla and his cultist master of questionable intelligence.

Just the ones invading the galaxy. Keep in mind the Hive from Destiny have canonically already wiped out all life outside the Milky Way galaxy in their universe and the MW Galaxy is the last bastion of life

Because most of his feats (99%) are irc in the Grimoire.

He only has like five minutes of screen time on the cutscenes, it'd be like judging 40k setting on Warhammer40k Spacemarine: Cutscenes only.

Crota did this with his sword swings irc, which is in line with his Aunt who was capable of blowing up a Moon before he was born (When she was weaker) and his cousin able to use the Power of Taking to molecular alter a Star into a Blight

We also know he slays the Worm God irc and it was giant (Composing a part of his ship)

Which makes sense with all his other hax 😲

Crysis verse could only beat like the Fallen and Cabal tho.

Everything else is kinda outside the scope, even high end Ceph are below the big players.

What I'm curious about is how Taking will interact with preexisting tyranid and ork leadership structures. Can Taken Synapse Creatures hijack lesser bioforms to switch sides? Taken Warbosses continue commanding their Waaaghs?

Taken apparently rebuilds victims at a molecular level to the point even the Hive Mind Vex and their infectious self replication routines are unable to do anything.

The Tyranids would definitely be effected but depending on the Ork Waahg Field they could hypothetically resist it but I doubt it.

And yeah Taken are infectious so they can infect subordinate units.
