I'm surprised. Not one Pole I would've thought of. Of course I recognize and respect some of the names obviously but as an American I have confidence in my own superior knowledge of many subject matters based on intuition as opposed to mere intellect.

In no particular order... The greatest Polish Commanders in history.

1. Tadeusz Kościuszko
2. Hyman Rickover
3. Casimir Pulaski
4. Michael Kovats
5. John Shalikashvili
6. Vladimir Krzyzanowski
7. Jan Bosak
8. Hetman Mike Ditka
9. Lidia Sobieska
10. Mike Krzyzewski
