The False Promise of Liberal Hegemony

Video of a lecture by John J. Mearsheimer to Yale University in 2017. The title is pretty self explanatory of the topic. I debated here or War Room, and decided this was probably more of Philosophical lecture than a military lecture, as much as it relates to current events.



I found out about this video because it was mentioned and excerpted by Paul Vanderklay, whos also a good channel if you like to get things from a more theological perspective, for lack of a better word.



Both I think are interesting and worthwhile videos.

Very interesting guy.

I can't argue with him, over all. I think the Shining City on the Hill approach is a better one, as well, if not necessarily more effective.


Spheres of influence are very much how nations think, and to some degree, have to think.
