It has been nine centuries in passing since the death and ascension of Christ of Bethlehem, a century after the passing of Muhammad of Medina. It has been so long ago, that many had dreamed of a world that was promised peace for all eternity.

The western reaches of Roma had felt four centuries ago, survived by its eastern half in Constantinople. Basileia Rhomaion fought for many wars against Persians, Goths, Arabs, and even themselves. They are the remnants of a glorious past, yet they cling on, upholding the traditions and their legacy of what was Pax Romana. Where one can walk from the Tin Isles to Judea unmolested for bearing the title of Roman Citizen, as it was told. Emperor Justinian sought to restore the empire his forefathers had built, but it was all for naught, in the face of people who lusted for greed and ambition…

In the west, the remains of the western empire were replaced by new kingdoms and fiefdoms. One of these was the Kingdom of The Franks, to which it expanded to conquer and unite the western world. Its greatest king, Charlemagne, and his empire and its new legends were enough for the Pope of Rome to crown him as Emperor of the Romans. Should his path continue, his’ would be destined for greatness… but in the end, Regnum Francorum was divided between his grandsons, his heirs, under the Lex Salica and the dream of unity of all peoples was gone…

In Arabia, the people were inspired by The Prophet and his mission to see all peoples submit themselves to Allah. His successors established The Caliphate, and launched a holy war to unite the homeland, then towards the far reaches of Hispania and Morocco. Like Roma of old, they spread their language and religion, to all peoples willing to follow their laws. But human error led towards chaos, and they were overthrown. al-Khilāfat al-Abbāsiyya now hold the reins, but the succession crises will soon lead to the end of the caliphate.

But far away from these successors of Roma, through the sand-stricken lands of the Sahara, through the drying plains of the Sahel, there in the thick jungles of a land yet named by these peoples, an unexpected birth will alter history. A history where the future wouldn't need to be a hundred different nations.

A birth that will herald the symbol of humankind’s unification under one banner.

A nation that sees a grander future for everyone…

A nation that sees beyond races and creeds…

A nation that shall last as long as their immortal monarch rules…

A rule under…

IMPERIUM TERRANUM
