We're all cultured here. I don't need to explain what tsun is. However, even beyond there dere of tsun, there is another stereotype that of the "strong female lead".

In either case, the woman has either INT or WIS as her dump-stat, effectively making her a pseudo-male in that she is attempting to fulfil masculine roles of strength and competence while stretching the suspension of disbelief. However, the lack of intellectual and social dominance in the situation creates a scenario where the female lead is subservient and submissive because they are powerful.

To be honest, it reminds me a lot of the explanations professional dominatrixes have for how their industry worked. That power requires a counter balance, more so in this case as women are hormonally inclined towards following anyway. The greater the martial might the greater to need to follow, else they face a lack of SAN.

I would say that there are very few exceptions to this rule, there are many tsun in fiction women who are smart, but few to none who are intelligent.

By "strong female lead" are you referring to an Amazon's "Galadriel" type character? Because that is a perfect example of taking a female character that is supposed to be powerful in a feminine, nigh-angelic way, and turning her into an angsty, try-hard masculine "strong woman" character.

Not really. I mean, where the female lead is a warrior or powerful mage, or something like that. For instance, Tsubaki from Bleach. They have masculine competence, and a certain amount of forwardness, but they lack most masculine psycho-social norms, so they defer to the male lead in the end. Thus effectively becoming anti-feminist, though the authors do not intend it.

Characters like Galadriel are couched in a different paradigm, that of "all men suck, women can be better men than men".
