Were they attacking his vehicle? Its just a 1 minute clip, but it seems like they are trying to stop it as he's driving slowly through a crowd? Which seems reasonable - a vehicle shouldn't be trying to drive through a crowd no matter how slowly - but 1 minute clips can be deceiving.
Most people would move because they don't want to get run over. He was driving slowly to give them a chance to move. They attacked him because he was defying their blockade of traffic. And again, the protestors should not have been blocking traffic. They have a right to protest, but that does not include impeding traffic.

Honestly the left has used this protesting tactic to block traffic and even attack people numerous times so much so that I'm fine with this. Because this sets a precidence, and that means we can use it against the left the next time they use this tactic to terrorise us once again.

This was basically my read. Self defense is a good thing, regardless of who it's used against.

Attacking someone who's actively trying to bulldoze you with their truck seems pretty justified.

It doesn't matter if blockading traffic is illegal, that still doesn't give you the right to run someone over.

Absolutely not, the first conservative who tries this is going straight to prison lol.

The only reason the guy got away with this is because they were conservative protestors.

Conservatives have already done this. Specifically, David Huston did this. It was an abortion rights protest.

Stop doom pilling people, it's just dumb.

Man who ran through an anti-abortion picket line that was blocking traffic found not guilty of any wrongdoing.

Dude, you fucked up the story. I looked at the video, and the leftist behavior and... demographic profile of the picket made me suspicious, and so i dug deeper...
This absolutely was a pro-abortion picket.
Note the name, its the same event.

He didn't run over anyone, and that's the key; he slowly pushed through the crowd.

I can see an argument for reckless endangerment charges being made, but given nobody was actually seriously injured, and if there were even minor scrapes or bruises, it would clearly be because they deliberately put themselves in harms way, that seems like good grounds for acquitting. This is one of those things that goes right up to the line about whether or not it should be legal.

Blocking the road unlawfully, however, was clearly illegal.

There is no denying that abortion is a complex and difficult subject. It is fraught with emotion and involves ethics, science and religion. However, wanting it to remain as an option is one thing: An argument can be made for that.

Glorifying it, on the other hand...

Like anybody smart and honest. There is notching bad in death penalty - but, since unborn children could not do anytching bad enough to be killed, their life must be sacrosat,or nobody life would be safe.

Even if i do not be catholics,i would still be against it after i saw what happened in western Europe - after abortion they accepted killing old dudes, officially when they want it,in reality when they could remove those who could not work anymore.

It would be our fate,if we agree to abortion. And everybody would be old.

Sane people would just move. If they had, and this guy still tried to run them down, that would be different.

If they attack you and you need to get out of there, it's kind of on them.

Dude, these were crazy feminists protesting the Supreme Court decision throwing out Roe v. Wade.

Yeah, I remember that video from the summer of love riots where "protesters" blocked a street and then pulled a man from his car and beat him into a puddle after he had stopped.

That ain't gonna be me. I don't care what they are protesting, I'm driving through and over them.

yeah and to have this be consistent we cant use the tactic either, just take it off the board entirely for everyone.

"Conservatives are also allowed to run over pedestrian protestors" isn't really all that better.

Also stop trying to make doom pilling a thing. Its not a thing.

I don't have the right to run someone over with my car just because they are standing in the road.

No, you don't, and unless I missed a key detail, the driver in that video didn't.

If he had actually run someone over, it'd be a very different situation.
What he did was the equivalent of hauling the Extinction Rebellion people out of the streets so a truck could pass, IMO. Totally Okay.

Also stop trying to make doom pilling a thing. Its not a thing.
If you google it, you quickly find that it's not just me using it. Maybe stop embodying it instead, when it's totally wrong?

If a group of people had done it with their hands sure.

If you try to push people out of the way with a truck you are literally two seconds away from causing grievous bodily harm to a person no matter how careful you are doing. Its incredibly reckless behavior, regardless of the fact that the people are blocking the street illegally.

I'm not debating this further.

Google says its a fucking method of packing for ADHD people.

Google redirects to "doom piling."

One word: doompilling. Anyway, if it annoys you ever so much to see a pretend new portmanteau of words, stop blackpilling then?

It was sad to watch "Oh, they'll never let a conservative do that" when a conservative literally did that. Its stupid and self defeating.

That’s nice in theory, but unless you want to spend the rest of your life in prison, I recommend not driving your car through left wing protestors. Right wing sure, left wing no way.
