So the weird thing is that NPR is great, because government is shit at everything, including propaganda. Basically it ran a bunch of lefty political radio show host outta business or stopped them from starting, as you'd be competing with NPR. In contrast, the righty ones are diverse and different and interesting.

I read this in article but don't remember where, but yeah, seems useful in that respect. Also, I want the left to do this. It's important they expose themselves for what they are doing.

That's the thing. They'd get more propaganda without NPR. NPR singlehandedly neutered Lefty talk radio. They'd have their own Rush Limbaugh, basically.

What makes you think that there'd suddenly be enough money to sustain a leftist radio network, when there hasn't been before?

There's a lot of other reasons talk radio works, but leftists haven't been able to pull it off, too.

A talk radio show that caters to the wokerati with popular hosts, etc, is basically completely run outta business by NPR. Without NPR, there are plenty of left leaning people who want to listen to radio news, that would now get it from new lefty talk radio from the newly available market. That's a significant share of listeners.

And because a government run company with a ton of money will survive when things go south for other companies in a normal downturn, and also the ability to penetrate every market even if it isn't economically feasible. Basically, government run/operated companies have an ugly tendency to squeeze out competition that would be good.

My opinion on abortion is thus.

If a woman has the right to abort her child then the decision to have a child is a unalateral one and thus child support and alimony should be done away with entirely.


Abortion or Child support pick one you shouldn't get both.

After generations and I do mean generations of the left purposefully taking a mile when ever they are given an inch you end up in a situation where people are not willing to give an inch. Action, reaction, its all very predicable.

After all, if people live they start thinking and if they start thinking they make mistakes. *sigh* have I ever mentioned how disillusioned with "civilization" I'm becoming? at what point is the simple act of living considered an inch? maybe AI should overtake us.
