And is discovered by Christopher Colombus in the place of the Americas

How does Europe take the existence of Tamriel in the long term? Will there be attempts to colonize it? Presumably Colombus and the rest don’t accidentally spread disease through contact and vice versa

How do they take the existence of Magic and the fact that the deities the Tamrielics worship are REAL

Also, the fact that they have more infrastructure and technology than the Native Americans

Where does Columbus land, exactly?

The Summerset Isles.....gonna be the first deportee from Europe
From what point of time does Tamriel come from? The Thalmo would be none too pleased about an uppity men trying to step on their land. If the elves aren't curious enough about the strange ships from the west where Tamriel is supposed to be, then Columbus and his crew might end up as a cautionary tale against overconfidence until Spain is visited by the Mer instead.

Right before Elder Scrolls Online or Oblivion? Whichever time they’re still somewhat open to outsiders

Admittedly, I never played the latter(due to lacking a PS2 and PC)and got really bored and disappointed with the first due to lack of stealth(don’t “feel” the combat)

Though from what I know, Queen Ayrenn may believe that Mer should rule over Men, but they DO have good ideas and merits of their own, might have research done for European guns and maybe whatever differences in tech there are for the latters’ ships

It’s weird that going by the lore, one of the things that freaked out the Chimer was that the Dwemer invented FULL PLATE ARMOR, as in they thought they were given a golem only for it to turn out to be a Dwemer wearing armor the whole time

I dont know that summerset isle is so intensely policed that a strange foreign explorer would be immediately arrested for sailing up to the shore and walking around a bit talking in an unknown language.

Well, the Thalmor hate humans because they believe that mer aka humans caused them to become mortal, even if long-lived.
Thus they seek to unravel reality and return everything to the ur-state of things, meaning they will become truly immortal again.
I can see them using the various european nations to sow chaos and war among the continent of Tamriel.

This is before the Thalmor are formed, they’re less xenophobic atm, but I think they still have issues with allowing outsiders in

That said, I think they will worry about these humans not knowing where Aldmeris is

I think magic is gonna roll Eurasia and Africa hard. They won't have any answer to it and the empire is capable of copying gunpowder. Then magic muskets and cannons everywhere. Mind control screwing up generals and kings. Stealing secrets the dark brotherhood cutting a path through the nobility. IRL would be finished.

Don’t forget about religion, the Aedra and Daedra clearly exist alongside minor or combined Gods for the various cultures/peoples of Tamriel and even they have an acceptance of other religions having counterparts

Are you saying that no human ship has ever landed on Summerset isle without being attacked, while it was ruled by the Thalmor? They're not robots.

Say, anybody think there would be racial variants for guns? Like they decide that the basic design the Europeans brought over isn’t to their taste

Ironically, Tamriel isnt that quick to change in it's ways. Guns would be enlarged, but they'd probably remain niche weapons besides that.
Hardly matters guns are primitive enough that mundane melle weapons are competive. Let alone magic they've can also mass produce steel. Considering all tye steel armour and weapons in game.

Yes, I'm not saying guns would be a new killer app in a world with armies of wizards and soldiers wearing 100 pound suits of plate armor and thinking "nah, I still need a shield".
