Having bench the last half of season 4 of Supergirl and many ways I was both impressed and respectful for the subject matter that they tackled. I don't think they did it all well but I'm always more forgiving of something that at least tries to take on meteor subject matter and tries to do as much as they can with it even if they end up in ways that I don't end up agreeing with. But whenever I think about this I also think about how they would have Sonata sides in order to Pander to the audience that they basically just out-and-out vilified this year

If only the little things that I think make this sense of Liberty plotline I feel a bit better even while they're deliberately equated to items like Crystal naksh and so on. Most notably they actually humanize the opposition so it wasn't a matter of we've Associated them with this bad idea or this bat symbol so it's okay for us to Now kill them and feel good about ourselves. It actually was emphasized how important it was in order to convince people to share your ideas rather than just simply dismiss them and assume anyone who shared them to sell as a matter of course
I guess the real takeaway for me was the previous three seasons were they live in Jack's Progressive talking points into the show I'm practically treated as a joke that anyone would oppose them. Only well with turns out Obama did authorized spying on Donald Trump. It often feels awful because you get the very real feeling that these people act like they're above the part of the country that they disagree with. So just having been lock would be a relatively intelligent reasonable person who Falls to hatred in light of almost everyone turning on them because they feel as if progress means they are helping everyone regardless of who they leave behind. And more importantly they make sure to include plenty guilty I'm in black people and so on in the Sons of Liberty. I can't help but feel as if the shows doing all this to say okay there but we're not going to apologize

I don't watch Supergirl, but Gotta say it's kinda surprising that someone who did would be posting on this site given that I'm pretty sure most who enjoy it actually do lean Left like on space battles

I gave it a shot after hearing the got a good lex luthor. Also Ben lockwood had a sympathetic origin story and made Leona and Jon look like assholes and acknowledged marsdin was ah constitutional violation.

Yes that show can't help but pander Lois earns less than Clark? Bullshit. Between the two of them I see her making the more hard negotiations on salary and benefits.

Still.

I think the apex if idiocy was when DEO (an organization that is a part of the state's monopoly of violence) decided to stop using lethal guns to show da world da enlightened better way.

Well at least they’re consistent, now for the rest of law enforcement and armed forces to give up their weaponry, because if it can’t be trusted with civvies it can’t be trusted with government

Why is organised crime not following the example? Why are so many organised crime groups popping up and gaining large amounts of power via intimidation and violence? Don’t they know that using those guns’ wrong?

Say, did the unequipped with guns law enforcement and formerly armed forces we sent just get gunned down?

Look all I can say is that Supergirl season 4 is on Netflix you can binge it and it's not raw stupid or at the very least it doesn't feel as Ross stupid as other instances of them pandering to the woke feminist crowd. You know the kind that use the social model of the patriarchy as an actual guideline for political discourse.

I did see the first two seasons of Suprrgirl on Netflix and despite some awkward narm moments and the like it was pretty entertaining. Kevin Sorbo stating he was going to Make Daxam Great Again was almost too meta... Which made it even more hilarious.

So yeah I'll have to check out Supergirl... Before it disappears off Netflix I suppose. And the other shows. Egads... Still halfway through binging on TNG though. Oh well.

I'm still annoyed that their illegal president hasn't been removed from her precidency. Everything she does is explicitly illegal and will be used against her party the moment she steps down. In fact, you could even claim that Agent Freedom or whatever his name was, is entirely justified in his campaign as the current in-universe gouvernment is an illegal one.

Umm... she was removed. It's a huge plot point in S4.

Ah, good to know. Haven't seen it in a while. Did they portray it as a bad/sad thing, or was it treated as the proper thing?

EDIT: Man, reading through the recap, I can only say Agent Liberty is in the right, and the cast only wins the PR battle because plot fiat.
