It has been 28 god damned years since 1992, the world has changed, the political situation has changed, since then we have had a major terrorist attack and a war that lasted more then 15 years. We have people who were born after 911 had their fathers serve in afganistan and are now serving in afganistan themselves.
It was a tv show that was successful for a period of time, it spoke about a period of time and a differnent culture. As a period peice its worthy of study but its not relevant to the national conversation any more. Also its um fiction and you really should be able to separate fiction from reality.
