Versus Match Star Ruler with level 40 tech vs Commonwealth of Man Max Tech

Vyor

My influence grows!
Each side has 10 planets to start, galaxy has 400 worlds total.

Commonwealth of Man has all megastructures

I mean if you want to be spiteful technically the aetherophasic engine is a Megastructure and since it's already completed all they have to do is press a button and become omnipotent like the Zroni did.

😂 Inb4 you edit

Cool, you posted!

Ok so their worlds tank the stars exploding because the shields and bunkers they have can just, you know, do that, and their ringworld which they built in about a second also survives. Stalemate.

Nope Omnipotent.

uh-hu

Right.

And who said that they could build it in every other thread?
Me, but that's essentially the Gg I win button.

You don't give them that at the start of a thread, irc the whole point of the Nemesis is to stop them from building it before it's too late.

Great, so if they just appear in the middle of space in a universe where no one has cause to notice them or can't get to them they automatically win.

Like, say, 40k?

Nah because they have to blow up starts to fuel the engine during the creation process, unless the faction in question is incredibly tiny and incompetent someone would notice.

Like, say, 40k?
Well that is if they're so incompetent they can't notice dozens and dozens of stars exploding and the Dark Matter being harvested by platforms over the course of several years.

Then yeah, but at that point it's just a skill issue.

... Do you know how long light takes to travel?

Nope Omnipotent.

Actually wait, obviously the Zroni never actually managed to create this device, since there's still life in the galaxy and things, you know, survived...

And that entry doesn't even coincide with creating the Aetheric Engine and has literally nothing to do with it. You don't even unlock it for completing that encounter chain.

And just having it isn't even enough to use it, you need 10 years to then upgrade it into its final form to even activate it.

So we don't know what that "omnipotence" means, we don't know how it works, we don't know if it works, and we don't know how long it takes to actually activate, and it can't even be used from the start.

They didn't create the device, learning how to enter the shroud is what gets you to reach that power level.

The engine is a feat for those who aren't Psionically gifted, ultimately same result. (You tap into shroud you end up a god)

And there's still life because they changed their mind, it's in the story line lol. Cope harder

Nope wrong when it's actually finished being built you just press a button. Don't make up shit lmao

So the Imperium doesn't have sensors that can surpass light ranges uh mkay guess they're even weaker than the UNSC 😂

Not what this says.

Cope.

Yes if you're saying the wiki disproves it being activated immediately once fully constructed.

Aetherophasic Engine[edit | edit source]

Available only with the Nemesis DLC enabled.
The Aetherophasic Engine is a megastructure that will appear in the capital system of every empire that reaches the final crisis level. Each stage of the megastructure requires gargantuan amounts of dark matter as well as 10 years to upgrade. If the system is conquered by another empire, the megastructure is ruined and can be repaired if the original empire reclaims it. Empires that reached the same crisis level and lost their Aetherophasic Engine but conquer a new one will have the option to take control of the new megastructure.
Visually, it resembles the Dyson Sphere generating unique system-wide visual effects the more it is upgraded.

It automatically appears, meaning it is already build and constructed. Then you need to upgrade it.

Hmm no you said the wiki proved me wrong first, so go ahead and support your claim
:)

Except that "prove it" statement had literally nothing to do with the wiki or the Aetherophasic Engine.

Nope
Stellaris-Nemesis-Announcement-article-image2.jpg

You just have really really bad reading comprehension, the Device is clearly stated to not be complete until all the Dark Matter is absorbed which is when you press the button sorry but you're wrong.

You seem to be very confused 😕 maybe you shouldn't debate Stellaris.
