Star Paladin Cross (Fallout)

The second highest ranking Paladin in the Eastern Brotherhood of Steel and Seneschal to Elder Lyons. Having attained the rank of Star Paladin after decades of service to the Brotherhood she only answers to the Elder. She comes equipped with her special suit of T-51B Powered Armor (minus the helmet) and is equipped with a Super Sledge and a Ripper as a backup.

VERSUS

Ebony Warrior (Elder Scrolls)

A mysterious Redguard warrior who has defeated all foes, Man or Beast, that he has confronted and seeks out new worthy opponents. The Ebony Warrior is equipped with a magically enchanted set of armor, supreme martial skill in wielding the Ebony Sword of the Vampire, and even access to a limited amount of magical spells and a pair of different shouts.

Location:

The Last Vigil Campsite.

Deathmatch:

This is in fact a fight to the death... or next best practical option. Sword versus Super Sledge! The Ebony Warrior hopes this Paladin from the future will send him to a worthy death and journey to Sonvgarde!

Ranged Deathmatch:

The Ebony Warrior is equipped with his Bow of Winter while the still helmetless Star Paladin Cross is equipped with a Laser Pistol.

Last Warrior Standing:

Before they can engage in their epic duel to the death, they are interrupted by a large raiding party of Druchii slavers and assorted Elf supremacists who decide these two dusky warriors would make excellent sport. Cross didn't even have time to take her helmet off. How many Bleakswords, Corsairs and Witch Elves fall to the duo and who throws up the best performance?

Deathmatch: Ebony Warrior. Disarm Shout, Ironflesh, Conjure Storm Atronach alone gives him the win.

Ranged Deathmatch: Laser Pistol variants can canonically slice people in two, so if Cross gest shots off before the Disarm shout is used, she'll have a chance. However, the 'shouts' don't have cooldowns in lore, nor do they have to be actual shouts, so the chances of Ebony Warrior /NOT/ using it the moment he realizes it is a ranged weapon is pretty slim. If Cross can't get any good hits in before the Disarm shout is used, she's finished.

Last Warrior Standing: Star Paladin Cross is most likely to go down first, not having a helmet and all. Assuming the Sea Dragon Skin is from an actual dragon, the Corsairs should stand the best chance against a laser rifle. Witch Elves are going to get cut in half by the dozen until Cross runs out of ammo, Bleakswords....eh. They have armor, I just don't think it will stand up for more than a single shot against a laser blast.

Ebony Warrior....has magic, and the disarm shout, and is at minimum 50% resistant to any poisons the Deldar have imbued their weapons with. Storm Atronach is good AOE, especially against the metalled up Druchii. Ebony Warrior's magic and shouts should let him last the longest.

Thank you for the great reply.

If Star Paladin Cross had her helmet on and was fully protected by her power armor would've it significantly changed any if the outcomes in your opinion?

I don't believe it would particularly influence the first matchup, she'd still get crumpled because shouts are OP when you can't hurt the person shouting before they...shout.

It would certainly help her during the Ranged Deathmatch, though to what extent is still dependent on the Ebony Warrior getting his Disarm shout in before he gets hit with a pistol shot. What that shot would actually do to him is...unknown. If his armor is capable of tanking/reflecting it, then Cross having a helmet would help her tank his arrow shots, as the Ebony Warrior would no longer be capable of simply aiming for the head for 'easy' hits.

The helmet would help her the most during the Druchii ambush, as they now have to aim at more specific points and joints around Cross's armor in order to disable the armor. Without an easy headshot, the Bleakswords are going to need to get into melee with power armor in order to shove their smaller dueling blades into the joints, something that is effectively suicide when you don't have magic to temp disable the power armored user (Unrelenting Force them away, Frost Cloak their limbs, etc.).

Witch elves are the ones most likely to actually disable Cross's armor, as they are the ones who actually want to get that close, and in large enough numbers that at least a few of them will disable an arm or a leg before they die to getting sliced in half, even if their poison does nothing because they can't reach the Cross's biological components very easily.

Corsairs are the ranged options, however their ranged weapons....are crossbows, at best. We know T-51 can hold up completely undamaged to 2,500 Joules (~5.56 rifle rounds), so unless those crossbows hit harder than shotguns, Cross is going to be undamaged for a *very* long time against the Corsairs, forcing them to rely upon the Witch Elves suicidal tendencies to disable Cross's power armor long enough for the Corsairs to just wrap their grapples and chains around her power armor until she stops breaking straight through them.

Depends on where you would put Ebony Warrior's FUS RO DAH, it goes anywhere from vaporize a human and knock down massive gates to just knock a troll off its ass.

If you interpret Ebony Warrior's FUS RO DAH to be of the lower interpretations then he handily loses because even power armor can absorb that lvl of force and manhandle him if disarmed. But anything above lower interpretations results in Star Paladin being crumpled like a aluminum can.
