Star League Policy after nearly being genocided by Cylons

As the the tins says. Being uniformly more technologically advanced than Star League, with ships capable of sustaining impacts with planetary oceans at terminal velocity, operating and jumping into atmospheres, surviving dense star clusters, able to beam malicious computer code into another ship, and operating in close proximity to black holes, travel 25% the speed of light STL and even 99% judging by the final 5, it isn't even a contest.

Their SRM equivalents shatter asteroids, that alone is a 100-kiloton punch and it is barely able to hard kill a Colonial Viper and the pilot has a high chance of being ejected from his wrecked bird and surviving if his suit stays intact.

These are the First Cylon War Cylons by the way.

Cylons club the Star League like they're baby seals, hitting them in 2751, wiping out all life in the Periphery and great houses over a span of 10 years without the SLDF able to even inflict one capital ship loss. Then the Cylons bypass all Hegemony Worlds in favor of hitting Earth directly.

In the words of the sole 6 year old girl lone survivor found alive on Earth, amongst a pile of civilian bodies, by the Venus Garrison: A Cylon cut her mother down before her eyes and was about to grab her when he stopped and glanced up and ran away.

The Cylons leave and never return. SLDF has no clues, no leads, just dead worlds barely able to be brought back to habitability. 90% of its warship fleet is destroyed, and Humanity has been reduced to 90 billion souls in the Terran Hegemony. The Hegemony's main manufacturing centers are still intact, the HPG networks and black boxes still work. 40% of the Civilian Jumpship Fleet has survived, but House Cameron is extinguished.

General Wilbur Braso is the ranking officer still alive and effectively Military Dictator.

The SLDF have at best minor wreckages of Raiders to study, but none intact, used up decoys that were able to mimic the size, shape, and mass of Cylon ships on their sensors till they were in visual range which is beyond their scientific knowledge. They also have some knocked out Centurions which are essentially power armored troops. And some minor vehicles that got wrecked. The metallurgy of the Cylons is beyond what they can make without access to artificial gravity, and what little tylium they manage to safely acquire is a mystery to them. But researching one wreck they do manage to find an intact inertial compensator and after careful study piece together 3 more from other wrecks and even find some on some rare Cylon dud missiles.

This solves for them how Cylon Raiders were maneuvering like light fighters despite being shuttlecraft sized, flipping inertia off, and not tearing themselves apart from their 25% of c cruise speeds alone.

They also drop DEWs for KEWs, Kobolian-culture metallurgy which Colonial and Cylon metallurgy derives, is immune to all SLDF DEWs that doesn't have the power feeds only possible in large settlements.

They also realize that the Night is long and full of terrors. And they don't know if the Cylons acted alone or were set upon them by others, though they don't necessarily think it is aliens, they do entertain the possibility that an unknown human faction in the periphery developed killer robots and it got out of hand.

Where does the Star League go from here?
