It apparently happened a month ago but details weren't publicized until now.

Reports of last month's death have only just emerged and suggest the man fell from an upper floor.

His body was found on the pavement by local police after having apparently fallen from an upper floor of the embassy in what the Russian Government has called a Tragic Accident.

Reports say the man was 35 years old and was listed as a second secretary of the Russian embassy.

Investigative website Bellingcat said it had used open source data to establish the man was the son of the deputy director of the Second Service of Russia's FSB intelligence agency.
