However, there is a "first stop" in the form of Nirn. Specifically, on Tamriel 5 years after the end of the Great War between the Empire and Aldmeri Dominion.

Those under equipped guards still had access to low level Elder Scrolls Magic. Something we don't have. Sure in time that can be obtained but in beginning Daedra are gonna be running amok in remote places.

Against high end Daedra that only elemental attacks work on. Nope you might as well be spitting at them.
