ASOIAF/GOT Red Keep hidden passages

While reading an ASOIAF fanfic something caught my attention. One of the characters was using hidden passages in the Maidenvault.
I understand that construction of the Red Keep began under the Founding Trio and was completed by Maegor, who added that feature. But the Maidenvault was added by Baelor the supposedly Blessed.
So, should that part of the complex possess such corridors to be used by the poor children mutilated by Varys (and fanfic protagonists)?

No.Nothing built later then Maegor should not have hidden passages,unless....Baelor liked to look at his sisters,when they sleep?
