What If? Politicians/Businessmen/Celebrities’ more depraved/hedonistic desires/activities were replaced?

Basically, what if all three categories of people suddenly starting in say the 2000s had their excesses, depraved, sadistic, sexual and hedonistic desires that cause both suffering and scandals were replaced with the following:

1) A love for enjoying watching/listening to music, art, martial arts, food, books/comics/manga, musicals and plays etc
2) A love for participating or practicing and making the above
3) Having a love for making and/or collecting armor and weaponry
4) Micromanaging every single expense they got or are in charge of and making sure they don’t do any decisions that cause unnecessary damage in the longterm to finances and economy
5) Doing dangerous sports that put their lives in danger like mountain climbing and swimming with sharks
6) Exercising daily and eating healthy
7) Cosplaying
8) Studying history, philosophy, religion. economics, finance, management and military tactics

What are the longterm consequences?

The listed interests above are so varied that no pattern will be discernible to the general public. We don’t have guys like Roman Polanski, Harvey Weinstein, Jeffrey Epstein, or even Bill Clinton - it rather their illicit behavior is no longer an issue. In some cases, they will still be corrupt though.

Fewer young celebrities are molested and so likely have healthier lives as they grow up. Less perverted politicians probably means that there is less corruption in general, though I’m unsure how much it will be reduced by.

If it’s in proportion, how much do they end up wasting huge amounts of money on what, if the media finds out, “dumb hobbies”

A politician using 1 million dollars on machineguns and extremely expensive art will look like a douchebag to people still

Would be really funny to see some being forced into rehab for playing World of Warcraft too long

Rich people already spend huge amounts of money on silly hobbies and nobody cares. There are canvases painted white that some rich moron spent millions of dollars on. A celebrity with a sword collection is downright reasonable.

Spending government TAX MONEY though

Oh, I don’t think you said that politicians were spending tax payers’ money on their own hobbies.

If that happens then when ever it comes to light, it will be scandalous. Though the media will suppress information about it unless the politicians in question are anti-establishment, in which case the media will attack them ferociously and other politicians will try to bring them up on corruption charges.

I wonder, how will people ever explain their obsession with......"Modern Art"
