The live streaming video app Periscope, acquired by Twitter back in 2015 for $100 million dollars has apparently seen a drop in users amd increase in maintenence fees over the years... Likely not helped by the fact that Twitter plundered much of Periscope for its on Twitter Live streaming feature that can be utilized on Twitter.
New accounts on Periscope have already been blocked and around March of 2021 Periscope will be mostly shut down.
