So, anybody else watch the Daytona 500? And anybody else happy that Smirky Logano finally got taken out in the second Big One?
I swear, next to Ricky Stenhouse Jr, Logano is the single biggest threat to cause wrecks on the racetrack, first in the Busch Clash with his hyper-aggressive blocking, then in the first Big One in Daytona where he shoved Almirola into Keselowski to trigger the chain reaction wreck... he's a menace!
Kyle Busch's Daytona 500 curse continues with a blown engine, unfortunately. He is still my favorite driver though!
I'll be going to the Phoenix spring race this year, hopefully it'll be some good racing.
I've also been following the ARCA Menards series (the top end one, not East or West) and am VERY impressed by Hailey Deagan so far. She's only 18, has already won a few races in ARCA Menards East and is now a development driver for Ford. She finished 2nd at Daytona last week in her first ever superspeedway start. And fun little story, on Sunday before the 500 she tweeted that on her bucket list was getting her helmet signed by Donald Trump. Donald Trump Jr then replied to her 'DM me, I may know a guy...' And before the 500 Trump signed her helmet!
