For some dumb reason they divided the list into male and female.

Apparently they chose the twenty men and women from a list of nominations compiled from panelists of thirty eight different countries then had over forty thousand people vote on it by asking people two questions, "Who do you truly admire?” where respondents could make multiple selections and “Who do you MOST admire?” where they could only pick one.

One question.... who the hell is 'Lisa'? That's not a KPop reference is it?

One observation... Donald Trump only came in thirteenth but that's still ahead of Joe Biden and the Pope.

As for Lisa? That might be the "none of the above" choice because I'm pretty sure my eldest daughter isn't someone who wants attention.

I'm guessing it's the Japanese anime singer Risa Oribe, who goes by the stage name Lisa. She got really big at the start of the 2010s due to her involvement in Fate/Zero with Yuki Kajiura. Obviously not mainstream here in the West but apparently idols are household names in Japan. Also rather unfortunate for her.

Most Japanese will pronounce Lisa and Risa the same way because because the Japanese language does not have an 'L' sound. They also have trouble with words that end with consanants.
