    July 21st, 1974: Amparo Munoz of the Kingdom of Spain was crowned as the 23rd Miss Universe Titleholder during the 23rd Miss Universe Pageant, which was held inside the Folk Arts Theater in Manila, Philippines. As of today, Munoz remains the ONLY titleholder to winning the Miss Universe Crown from Spain.

    Saturday, July 19th, 1975: Anna Marie Pohtamo of the Republic of Finland is being crowned as the 24th Miss Universe titleholder inside the Natinal Gymnasium in San Salvador, El Salvador; making her the 2nd Finnish woman to win the Miss Universe Crown following Armi Kuusela, who was the 1st Miss Universe titleholder in 1955. Pohtamo was crowned by Miss Universe 1972 Kerry Anne Wells of Australia because Miss Universe 1974 Amparo Munoz of Spain abruptly resigned.
