>>> Iran's supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has issued an order for Iran to strike Israel directly, in retaliation for the killing in Tehran of Hamas's leader, Ismail Haniyeh, according to three Iranian officials briefed on the order.

Mr. Khamenei gave the order at an emergency meeting of Iran's Supreme National Security Council on Wednesday morning, shortly after Iran announced that Mr. Haniyeh had been killed, said the three Iranian officials, including two members of the Revolutionary Guards. They asked that their names not be published because they were not authorized to speak publicly.

Now it is unclear how forcefully Iran will respond, and whether it will once again calibrate its attack to steer clear of escalation. Iranian military commanders are considering another combination attack of drones and missiles on military targets in the vicinity of Tel Aviv and Haifa, but would make a point of avoiding strikes on civilian targets, the Iranian officials said. One option under consideration is a coordinated attack from Iran and other fronts where it has allied forces, including Yemen, Syria and Iraq, for maximum effect, they said.

Mr. Khamenei, who has the last word on all state matters and is also the commander in chief of the armed forces, instructed military commanders from the Revolutionary Guards and the army to prepare plans for both an attack and a defense in the event that the war expands and Israel or the United States strike Iran, the officials said.

Sad. I was like looking forward to seeing Haniyeh be the surprise speaker at the DNC in August. 😔

Whatever Netanyahu plans to do, he needs to do it fast, and get it done before Nov 8th.

If Kamala is installed, Israel's going to have a bad time for a bit, unfortunately.

Sec Austin just yanked the deals made with the 9/11 hijackers.

Why? everybody in USA would support our pet genocider.Kamala,too.
Only difference would be,that she let come all migrants and made lgbt USA no matter what states want.
In Izrael, notching change, they would continue to steal land and murder.

We should, if we had any brains, ditch the nation that harbored Osama for India.
The idea of Pakistan in itself should be ditched and make four/five separate countries but that would be a "nuclear" headache... so I reluctantly rather keep that country "moribund" instead of "dead" as long as they have those nukes, the ones they got with the mentality of having them while "eating grass". From my basic understanding (from my one of my exes) is that Pakistan is held by a metaphorical militarist and Islamist "spit and duct tape" and everyone barring the Pashtun (which never accepted the Durand line to begin with) are just "in this together" and too afraid of rocking the boat and having a civil war or something like that.

Remind me @Abhorsen was there any response to the fact that OBL was in Pakistan and the ISI did nothing from Obama's administration or anyone else?

Nope. They are still 'valued allies' lol. The big lie of the NeoCons is that they care about American power. But they demonstrably don't advance american power abroad.

I can see the bright intelligence of cultural traditional Pakistani inbreeding from the video.
If that's not a Tianmen style repression I don't know what to call it. Pakistan has plenty of groups just itching to break-free or a fight (and if I recall they also have Kashmiri separatists like India) and might have kicked an hornet's nest.

Marduk and Zachowon to a lesser extent are largely tools (or maybe it would be more correct to call them "shills" or "useful idiots" ) of the U.S. State Department establishment, they believe that every country that hates the U.S. is in an ironclad alliance with each other and there are clearly defined lines of black-and-white. There are not. Saudi Arabia has long been an ally of the U.S. but that doesn't mean they're automatically to be trusted. Saudi is a totalitarian hellstate with no legislature, it is quite possibly the closest thing to Nazi Germany on the planet aside from China.
