She probably doesn't become a huge fuck up like skitter was. And depending on how things work she might not even get with Pete in the romantic sense, they work together as superheroes. What I mean by this is that Gwen Stacy doesn't suddenly have a case of physics suddenly applying for no particular reason.

So, maybe MJ gets with Harry and Peter stays with Gwen and everyone is happy.
