Patients fall in love with staff all time. I’m talking very beautiful/handsome people. I’ve had it happen multiple times. Some were very attractive.
It’s very common for it to happen and it unfortunately common for nurses, doctors, therapists, mental health technicians to fuck patients and get fired or sanctioned for it. It’s happened at places I’ve worked at and I seriously think it’s underreported.
Go to your state counseling board. Do a search through the sanctions and new reports. There’s some seriously screwed up things.
Hell, I read about a case where a couple therapist was fucking the wife and charging the husband for private sessions. To treat his belief the wife was cheating on him.
One of my professors was being paid $400 an hour (they offered more but she turned that down)to treat the aftermath of a similar case in a school with a school counselor in New England.
