What If? Jill Valentine Replaced By T-800 Terminator In Resident Evil 3 Remake

Honestly I think the Jill-800 would get wrecked here... or at least a T-800 in her form. Jill Valentine has some impressive plot/game armor as it is to allow her to survive the Nemesis showing up in more and more extreme iterations. Haven't experience the whole game yet, but while the Jill-800 potentially could give the first form of Nemesis a thrashing... it's a pretty tentative thing.

But once the Nemesis gets that rocket launcher, without Jill Valentines impressive agility and ability to somehow not get blown up or broken from leaping about or tossed about from nearby explosions, a few rockets would definitely put a serious damper on Jill-800's day.

Then there's the fact that the Nemesis has another monstrous evolution beyond that and the T-800 frame is tough, but I'm not sure it'll survive the thrashing the Nemesis monster could give it. Jill-800 would be very unlikely to damage that iteration of Nemesis most certainly though, unless it somehow comes upon weaponry far beyond what it already is equipped with. Haven't seen the end of the remade game though, but yeah... so far... I think a T-800 would get wrecked by the Nemesis.

With that said, I highly doubt anything else (zombies, dogs, UBCS, and our lovely Hunter variations) would prove particularly troublesome however in dispatching. Maybe a Hunter Gamma might put some stress on the metal with its chomper... but I kinda doubt it would be anything serious.

"Plot armor" and such doyalist interpretations have little to no place in a VS thread.
Jill is human and has no supernatural powers, theres nothing she can do that the T800 cannot, tactically. Reboot Jill doesnt even have any inexplicably superhuman feats that I'm aware of like Chris from the pre-reboot days.

Not inexplicably superhuman, just standard John McClane stuff only she doesn't show much wear and tear. Like her first action scene is Nemesis smacking her around her apartment and then hurling her through a fire filled apartment hallway, and then there's a car crash off of the parking garage (no airbag even ufff) and then the fact the rocket launcher utilized against her blasted her anime style over obstacles instead of flaying the flesh from her body. Not sure about the pulling the drywall down on the bridge, it was heavy or dense enough to be an impediment but clearly not that heavy I guess. Though maybe she had decent leverage.

Unfortunately I haven't seen the excellent latter Terminator films but there are several advantages Jill has over the Jill-800, mainly in that she isn't in the 400-600 pound range so she won't be 'thrown' by rocket launchers or subway explosions except maybe as an inadvertent projectile, Jill is far more mobile and agile in regards to crawling through ventilation and ducting. She's capable of leaping, crawling, and diving through small areas in a manner that I don't think was replicated by the T-800's in the films. And there's quite bit of that in the game. Plus I'm not sure the sprinting speed of T-800's but since there are numerous chase sequences, I'm reckoning Jill Valentine is just faster in a run, especially with all of the cornering and dodging that needs to be done in those chase sequences. I mean I've seen T-800 do a brisk job in every movie... not quite running though.

I couldn't see Jill Valentine (or any human) surviving the sequence of events as laid out in Resident Evil 3 of course, but the plot armor that was utilized (or "doyalism" as you call it :p ) seems to be the best explanation for it. And yes, plot armor would only aid the T-800 in this Versus, which was my point in the original post. I guess some people just need the opportunity to misspell Doylism.

You desperately need to learn how to post correctly, learning to use the quote button would be a good start. Dropping the needless pedantry would be a solid step two.

I see no evidence that Jill would be more mobile and agile than a terminator in moving through vents if they're the same size. Further, a broad range of movement options are open to the Terminator that are not open to Jill, such as, if necessary, smashing right through walls to get where it needs to go.
Terminators are faster and stronger than humans, so any jump, climb, or movement Jill is capable of, the Terminator will be easily so. Unless you can show me a specific instance of Jill jumping some dramatically superhuman distance, of course.

You've provided no evidence, not even a reference to evidence that Jill has any superhuman stats besides inexplicably surviving an explosion of unknown yield, which, as long as we're considering the bizzare, could just as easily apply to her as a plus as the explosive as a negative.

The only thing in the scenario capable of harming the Terminator would be Nemesis, but he canonically couldn't stop Jill anyway, so unless you can show me a situation in which Jill being bulletproof would have hurt her odds of surviving nemesis, it's literally all upside.

That's because I never made that argument...

I applaud your efforts at strawmanning and providing a red herring that I literally responded to in the very first line of my post.
