Soon the Great Awakening will occur and millions of Necrons will awaken and bring peace, order and stability to the galaxy (and likely large numbers of Dynastic Wars of Secession). Sadly, for the Necron Dynasties to elevate themselves to their rightful place in the Galaxy and beyond, all of those who aren't already like you, and kneeling in humble gratitude and worship to your immortal betters, might have to be cleansed. But your Necron Overlords aren't without hearts... figuratively speaking.

As their Mortal Servant, they have empowered you to go forth and use that canny meatbrain initiative and creativity of yours to go across the Multiverse and collect worthy people, places and things for the Necron Archaeovists to preserve in their vaults, museums and galleries. Remember, regardless of how your targets might react, your doing this for their good as much as for the benefit of the Necron Dynasties.

Your Mission, Which You Will Choose to Accept:

You will go across the Multiverse and Collect interesting stuff for the Necrons to preserve in their museums and galleries before the Great Awakening. Each of your Necron Overlords you are nobly acquiring these items, artifacts and specimens for have different tastes however, so keep that in mind.

The categories of what to gather fall in four generic categories.

Person: Interesting Figures. Not neccessarily just individuals, but also family units, famous couples, beasts and monsters of note etc.

Place: Not just physical locations like such as buildings or towns but also notable terrain features, wildlife habitats, large landmarks, large vessels or small stellar formations etc.

Thing: A nice grab bag for all sorts of curios. Weapons. Artifacts. Artwork. Collectibles. Other items exotic, magical or otherwise.

Armies: The Great Awakening Might Not Have the Numbers to Crush the Entire Galaxy of Resistance Immediately so if you can use the tesseract labyrinth to capture entire formations worth of warriors or soldiers, please use your best judgement in identifying good candidates for involuntary recruitment! Anything larger then a company might be problematic, trying to entrap battalions worth could result in stasis field side effects.

Restrictions: While it's all well and good to attempt to capture the most powerful, dangerous and advanced thing you can find in the Multiverse, there are a lot of things that could easily resist attempts at being drawn into tesseract chambers or stasis fields, or even escape their clutches. Also just as importantly, in the outside chance the galleries and museums are compromised in some way, some things are just too dangerous for the Necrons to keep on display. The Necrons are wary enough of trapping C'tan shards in secure hidden vaults, they don't want to make the problem worse by trying to entrap more demigods and extraordinarily powerful beings and technology for lockup in one of their Museums. Space Marines and Space Monsters sure. Culture Minds and Super Saiyans less so. More problems than they are worth.

Clients:

Nemesor Zahndrekh: A talented military commander and military genius whose eccentricities make him perceive the lesser races as vassals or kinsmens to be humbled. His interests include military history and tactics. His favorite collectibles are famous and accomplished military leaders and warriors. He loathes assassins and is paranoid of threats conversely, even employing food tasters to keep himself from being poisoned... despite the fact he doesn't eat or drink.

Executioner Phillias: The primary enforcer, investigator and executioner of the Necron Dynasties and the Awakened Council, she has been awake for sixty five million years now and is very disappointed with the current state of Necron affairs. Her interests include the law, justice, and bringing order and stability to the Dynasties. Diversions that can both help pass the time as well as focus and hone her deadly abilities as well as collectibles that can further her goals in being a stabilizing power behind the Necron Overlords are her primary interests.

High Queen Khalida Neferher: A martial warrior who loathes the Undead so much she's started a macabre collection of trophies of failed attempts on her life by them. She's a worshipper of Asaph, which makes her a fan of sneks and a total scalie. She's both an intellectual who enjoys discussion and a warrior. She likes to collect weapons, statuary, poisons and other assorted martial trophies but also is looking for worthwhile companionship capable of holding a conversation.

Hastur the Collector: His own collecting days long behind him when biotransference took place, Hastur longs for cultural and artistic enrichment now long dead in Necron culture. While his favorite collectibles are plays and other storytelling devices such as films, scripts and dioramas, he is a collector of all sorts of curios that have an interesting story behind them and from which he can impress guests he shepherds into his galleries to impress, especially those of an eldritch variety.

Merkhant Lord Hsramael/Moira Brown: Her neural engramming undoubtedly corrupted by millenia of stasis sleep, this Overlord thinks herself an Inventor and Scientist with an insatiable lust for learning about the world she wouldn't dare explore herself. Running her Galleria as a "Supply Shop" with very exclusive clientele, she's always on the lookout of acquiring new inventory but also knowledge and and a nerd hoard worth of curiosities for her ongoing research and treatises on the universe beyond that she never desires to actually visit herself.

The Preserver: The Preserver runs a Cosmic Zoo where he contains habitat exhibits for all manners of endangered, rare, and exotic species of varying levels of intelligence and sapience and regardless of consent. His primary concern is with endangered creatures, but has interesting in all sorts of uncommon and interesting living beings. Calm and gentlemanly, his efforts are preservation can also be complimented by resources that further enhance the operations of his Cosmic Zoo.

The Mission:

Collect One Person, Place, Thing and "Army" Unit and then decide which of the six Clients will get which Collectible.

If you feel like it, have a overall theme that links the collectibles like from the same genre or setting or purpose etc.

Oh me first? Very well then.

Theme: The Sweet Science of Boxing!

Person: King Hippo (Punch-Out): Clearly the most distinctive of a distinctive bunch of boxers in Punch-Out, he has the added bonus of being a Monarch so despite his seemingly limited conversational style made up for by his voracious appetites, having a noble guest might add to the uniqueness of having King Hippo added to ones collection. While none of the Necron Lords are a perfect match, I think Zahndrekh's canon affinity for great warriors, and compulsion for hosting dinner parties for his guests might actually line up well with King Hippo's own strengths.
Client: Nemesor Zahndrekh

Place: Hit Pit Boxing Gym (Million Dollar Baby): An old school boxing gym might seem like a bit too out of the ordinary for any but the most eccentric of collectors but this gym is already filled with fossils portrayed wonderfully by Clint Eastwood and Morgan Freeman and we know from Clint Eastwood's trolling of various folks, including his local Priest, that he engages in quite a bit of theological and philosophical discussion His decades of experience should provide good foundation when he's forced to converse with his new site manager, a High Queen of the Tomb World!
Client: High Queen Khalida Neferher

Thing: Two-Step Goodbye Ballistic Fist (Fallout: New Vegas): I was originally thinking the Greased Lightning Power Fist might've been better, but with King Hippo around and with how slow Necrons are in melee combat, it might be better to go for the ol' Two-Step Goodbye Ballistic Fist. Plus the aesthetics of the Two-Step Goodbye is almost as neat as the Greased Lightning and there's nothing quite as distinct as getting an explosive critical kill with a Ballistic Fist. So much so the critical strike can cause explosive damage in a radius. Delightfully gore.
Client: Nemesor Zahndrekh

Army: Roger Family (Tekken): Dr. Bosconovitch started with Roger, the boxing Kangaroo but soon Roger's family bloomed as he got married to another boxing kangaroo and they had a son, Roger Jr. Sadly his infidelity left him a bachelor. But in addition to the three boxing kangaroos is another close relative, the Deinonychus Commander himself, the raptor clone of Roger known as Alex who has canonically hanged out with the family on occasion. The family can be reunited and Roger's wandering eye cured whilst in the benign custody a Necron Cosmic Zoo.
Client: The Preserver

I don't think there would be any particular challenges in acquiring any of these specimens. King Hippo doesn't seem particularly hard to find or overpower and once he's immobilized he should be easy to nab in a stasis field... might need more then one Ghost Ark to lift him, I dunno.

A 20th century terrestrial boxing gym shouldn't be too problematic beyond the old people being ornery... but the Necrons are ornery old people by and large as well too so eventually they'll get along. Treat it like a retirement community or something. The Two-Step Goodbye can actually be purchased from the Gunrunners Vendertron so not an issue. The biggest challenge would be acquiring the Roger family honestly, and that's only in certain circumstances. They seem to live a pretty nice suburban life outside of their tournaments so again, easy acquisition. Might get a black eye or two though.

Subscribed and following this huge discussion mega-thread very closely with intriguing interest.

I will make it a megathread, just you wait and see.
