Everybody knew about Ribbentrop-Molotov pact, but there was more to that - after their alliance,NKWD and gestapo started official co-operation,and meet on conferences.

They shared info about polish elites, which helped both side genocide us better.
First they meet in Brześć,later in Przemyśl,20.2.1940 third conferency in Zakopane happened in villas "Pan Tadeusz" and "Telimena" german were lead by Adolf Eichman, soviets - by Grigorij Litwinow.

Just after that, soviet made mass deportation.

Conferency continued in Cracov 29-31.II.1940,from german side - O.Wachter,KiLischa,G,Flade,from soviet - W.Jegonarow,I.Niewski,W.Lisin

3 days later, soviets decide to murder polish officers.

As far as i knew,NKWD-gestapo co-operation against Poland lasted even when they start fighting each other.

Here,one of NKWD-gestapo cooperation.

In occupied Warsaw,17.2.1944 ,NKWD group lead by polish traitor Marian spuchalski, and gestapo group lead by Wolfang Birkner/among other crimes, murdered jews in Białystok and other places in 1941/
thanks to info get from another polish traitor,Bogusław Hrynkiewicz, attacked polish archive on Poznańska 37 with materials about german and soviet crimes.
7 poles were murdered, germans take documents about their crimes, soviet about theirs.

Spychalski take those materials to Moscov, become "polish" major, and later even marshall.Hrynkiewicz become colonel, and Birkner faked his dead in 1945.

Compilation of few articles:

1.Polish hero who fought commies and get to prison ,colonel Łukasz Ciepliński was tortured before execution and could not get letters from family.
Gestapo officer, who was in one room with him,get letters.
Last words of our here was that he thank God that he could die for Catholic Faith and Poland, and that HE gave him wonderful family.

2.Witold Pilecki, who as volunteer go to Auschwitz and created secret organisation there, was tortured there by germans, and after war by commies.
According to his last worlds, commies were much worst.

3.Other polish hero,Józef Kuraś "Ogień" is attacked by new polish goverment - becouse of faked materials made by soviet major Boris Wróblewskij after WW2.

for example, killing of pregnant Katarzyna kościelna by common bandits/executed by our hero later/ was turned into his crime, and victim/normal woman/ into commie.

Other - killing 4 bandits from Zagatów- Łantów family - commies turned them into innocent victims.

4.Holy Cross Brigade, made by nationalists, which fought both germans and commies - they manage to run to Patton army, soviets wanted them back to kill, but failed to procure evidences - for example, accused them of murdering jews year before unit was formed.
As a result polish commie Marian/Mosze/ Muszkat decide to not accuse them at all.

They tried accuse at least their commander, colonel Antoni Szacki "Bohun-Dąbrowski" in France/Toulous/ in 1950 - but then french jewish ex-prisoners of german death camp in Holiszów,who was saved by his unit, testified that he saved them.

But commies now still do that.

The Battle of Texel Island in the Netherlands which took place in April of 1945, mere weeks before the end of the War in Europe.

I just saw this on a Community Post on the Works War Two day by day YouTube channel. But they post these simultaneously on their Instagram account as well.

Nice find!
Did the British hand over those Georgians to the USSR for murder like the Cossaks?

Brits turned them over too. Over ten percent ended up in gulags with their families for about a decade.

Meanwhile their actioms were being memorialized by the Soviet Unions Ambassador to the Netherlands and the Dutch Communist Party.

I take it that these were the survivors, the other 9/10ths killed at once or worked to death at the death camps?

BTW - the first things that comes to my mind when seeing Dutch islands + WWII is the clearing of Walcheren in later 1944.
Having wasted their manpower on the Bomber Command and thus having too few infantry, the British launched an amphibious assault on a flooded, partly below-sea level island with a formation trained for airborne and mountain operations ...
Lowland 52 Infantry Division, if you are interested.

Too few infantry wasn't just a British problem. The Americans had it as well with the best and brightest being sent to the air force or armor.

Two hundred or so Georgians survived and at least twenty five or so were sent to Gulags. 565 Georgians were killed or executed by zee Germans. Rest apparently got amnesty perhaps thanks in part to said uprising being such good press.

Soviet POWs who rebelled or joined partisans were usually given lenient treatment, usually just ''voluntary'' term in work brigades. Contrary to popular misconceptions, most of repatriated POWs were not executed or sent to gulags, but most were sanctioned with punishments like expulsion from party, temporary loss of rights and temporary internal exile (thankfully not the kind that was used during dekulakization). Those that joined the Germans though... they were fucked.

Just to add - people from occupied areas were banned from higher education.

Fascinating to hear that college level Communist Intellectual Indoctrination at establishments of Higher Education was once so valued....

Even those who became partisans?
Beyond my ken. My mother told me that a friend had spent the war under German occupation and could not attend uni.

Less about indoctrination but more about having contanimated people with degrees and thus in charge of things. No matter how small.

Regarding military things: people on the internet say things, and one of those things I saw somewhere was that the US Military has only a limited, finite inventory of Bradley APCs - and once those are gone, they cannot be replaced as the MIC is no longer able to make them. They stopped all production of that class of vehicle long ago.
@Zachowon ?

No...it still is made. Just in small numbers to keep the factory going.
Like the Abrams.
Though with the new Bradley based APC to replace the 113 coming out. It will be producing more

Yup, it's a strange theory to throw around when a huge AMPV production run is just starting.
AMPV is a turretless, modernized version of a Bradley meant to replace M113 APC's.
Though it's not technically a Bradley, it would be easily to refit these vehicles back into IFVs, even if not with the original turrets, there are many ready turrets available for other vehicles that could be adapted, some even superior to the original.
In fact it has a ready system to adapt it to over 30 already existing turret variants, like this anti-drone one:
Meanwhile normal Bradley production is also ongoing independently of that:
