Interest Check: Sietch Book Club

Hey @Bear Ribs why don't we expand the club a bit?

We can do 3-4 works, let us say 1 Fantasy novel, 1 Science Fiction novel, and at least one short story.

That's not a bad idea. We should see if the other readers are interested in doing that much reading first though, maybe just get through the first month successfully before we complicate things.

Sure, we can just make it 1 book and 1 short story.

However, I think that not everyone likes Fantasy and vice versa where books are concerned.

Honestly, for an internet group. We probably need to just do 1 book a month. Then set the reading goal for the three weeks after.

End of week we place reviews without care of spoilers by the date's goal, and then discuss them freely.

The number of spoiler boxes is kinda annoying and hard to respond to.

One book and one short story, or even two books should not be that hard.Perfectly doable for 4 weeks, IMHO.

It's not reasonable to presume people have too much free time. Yes, I personally read around six books a month but I know I'm a bit of an outlier and even one a month is a lot for some people. We'll let the community vote before we choose next month's book.

Yeah, good idea!
