I cannot send private messages

Sorry to bother folks but as a new member I have a slight problem. I don't seem to be able to send private messages to other members. I've been told where to look but the option of messaging just doesn't seem to appear. Any help with this would be deeply appreciated.

You need to make a certain number of posts (25) before it becomes possible to PM someone. This is to cut down on random spam by accounts that make it past the filters.
