Basically MCU Hulk replaces the arriving Rohanese army in the movie version of the battle of Minas Tirith, and he is supposed to smash the orcs. Can he be enough to still lead the fight to victory for the men over Sauron and his Orcs?

For all of that they didn't react well when Aragorn hit them with burning sticks at Weathertop nor when the River Bruinen flooded them away. Now granted, both cases involve possible magic but they still seem to interact with things hitting, burning, or smashing them pretty physically across multiple encounters.Because he's a spirit - no actual body.
