Lord of the Rings Hulk smash Orcs!

Tyzuris

Primarch to your glory& the glory of him on Earth!
Basically MCU Hulk replaces the arriving Rohanese army in the movie version of the battle of Minas Tirith, and he is supposed to smash the orcs. Can he be enough to still lead the fight to victory for the men over Sauron and his Orcs?

The problem is that there's just one of him.

Hulk has gone against large forces comprised of modern military and enemies with advanced alien tech and superpowers.
Your average medieval army is usually somewhere in the low to mid tens of thousands, and it is not like they can bring all their strength to bear on him all at once.
it will be a tough fight, but between the massive damage he provides and the huge distraction that a nearly unstoppable green monster can do to morale I think that Hulk and the defenders at Minas Tirith can pull this off.

Impressed by Mister Big, Green, Mean, Smashy and Stompy, awed by his managerial skills, the orcs elect him President?

Could be a Warhammer (or 40K) AU to be honest. Or I guess any setting with sufficient Ork/ciness.

Pre The Beast would be better I suppose. :p

Middle Earth Orcs need more leadership both at the junior and senior level. I saw what Peter Jackson did in the Hobbit films with those CGI Orcs... Lurtz was way cooler then both. If we're going CGI Greenskins, might as well Hulk out with it.

What will be fun is watching the Hulk beat up some Oliphants! That alone wrecks the counter charge by the forces of Sauron. Then he can wipe out the Nazghul. I mean...Hulk ain't Man.

Doesn't matter - he cannot actually do a Ringwraith any real injury.

Witch-King: "No man can kill me!"
Hulk: *Proceeds to physically ragdoll the Witch-King over and over to a ridiculous extent until he deeply regrets not being able to die.*
Sauron: "Witch-King, you'll need to go back and finish off the Hulk."
Witch-King: "I don't count as a man for the purposes of that prophecy, right?"

There was an ongoing joke in Aladdin 2: The Return of Jafar where the evil Sorceror Jafar got Genie powers and everyone kept saying the mantra along the lines of "Don't worry, Genies can't kill."

Then after getting burned or blasted to within an inch of their life the statement, often said whilst reeling in pain was "But you'd be surprised what you can live through."

Because he's a spirit - no actual body. Interacts with world through magic
For all of that they didn't react well when Aragorn hit them with burning sticks at Weathertop nor when the River Bruinen flooded them away. Now granted, both cases involve possible magic but they still seem to interact with things hitting, burning, or smashing them pretty physically across multiple encounters.

Peter Jackson took liberties there - but in the book, the Nazgul fear fire, not being hit with sticks.

He'd win. I don't think there are many things in the Orc army that can stop or even slow down the Hulk. The closest things they have are trolls, which aren't nearly as strong. Sauron's army would probably end up scattering.
