so, the idea is to have a place to talk about the homebrewing of alcohol. feel free to ask questions, post about anything that you've got bubbling away, or even just any complain about not being able to join in.

right now i've got an oatmeal stout and a golden ale that are ~1/2 through the ferment cycle.
after that i'm planning on doing an apa all grain kit and a ira agk.
my "stockpile" includes apple cider, raspberry mead, oatmeal stout, and a ruined batch of english brown.
this fall i'll probably trade my uncle brew for honey, press some more apples and look into malting some wheat*
the goal is to spend $0 on fermentables in that batch

* i tried that last winter, but it started to mold
