Battletech Hired Steel.

It felt like they missed an opportunity for the classic 'mech load voiceover when the pirate turned his Locust on.

The detail and work they put into this is amazing though, especially the voice work.

I liked it as a... proof of concept, I guess? It has all the ingredients present: character models, voice, really good 'Mech action. Probably one of the better ones I've seen, but I still have some criticism.

The dialogue felt a little wooden: for example, none of the characters used contractions. Every word, even from the (presumed) pirate, was exact. If it were Clanners I'd praise them for adhering to the lore, but these are IS 'Mechwarriors. "Let's hope they don't know what's coming," sounds a little more natural to me than "Let us hope that they don't know what is coming." It's a little too structured.

In terms of voice quality, Tex was fine, but whoever voiced the pirate 'Mechwarrior didn't sound in distress. That could have been made up for by using better camera-work: instead of panning to the Locust after the pirate detects them, have the camera suddenly zoom in to show the Merc mechs closing in, or have it jerk around to give the impression that the pirate's scrambling to get his 'Mech running in the face of a hostile lance.

While we're on the subject of sound: I think they could have mixed the laser noises a little better. The autocannons and machine guns were great, but the lasers sounded like they were being muffled, and could have used a bit more volume to make them stand out some more.

That being said: this is a production from an indie studio, working on a small team and small budget. Even with its flaws, it's an accomplishment, and I'm eager to see more.
