I think its last years won’t involve going to war and devastating those who don’t want to be part of it anymore, it’d be it futiley trying to pretend as if it has power and influence while its economy crumbles and they blame the governments that left for it and having crime waves it refuses to acknowledge

Actually world war 1 was Serbia's fault, the ideal situation would have been some kind of limited war that punished Serbia but kept them in existance.
Unfortantly the Austrians were rightfully in a rage, The Kaiser was a beligerant idiot who didn't get diplomacy, the Russian Czar was an insecure moron, The French were still in a rage about a war that was by that point over 30 years ago. The british empire was in freak out mode and the creation of Belgium defeated the entire purpose of the buffer state it was meant to be because it was too small and weak.
So yeah lots of blame to go around with that clusterfuck.

That is impossible per definition: doing so would require to acknowledge that:
1. Unrestricted Immigrantion is a problem, nigh-unsolvable to boot,
2. The other side has a point.
Especially considering a good part of German left is openly gleeful about Germans not being a majority anymore.

Actually, Austria deliberately issued an unacceptable ultimatum, they fully knew that they did, they just badly wanted a war. And things spiralled out from there. But let's not derail anymore.

I don’t think many or any of Germany’s armed forces will be so motivated to fight a war

The thing is, when the cultural tipping point is reached, that could change very fast.
When a group of people raised and indoctrinated to despise themselves, their history, and their nation, suddenly discover that they don't have to be soy-boys, that it feels good to stand up and fight to protect your wife/sister/daughter/mother from a rapist...
Well. Once the current cultural norm has been broken, a new norm will assert itself, and a lot of people will move sharply in that direction. It's probably not going to be a small shift either, unless a lot of sanity comes in pretty quickly.
In countries like Germany, it only really takes one serious riot breaking social norms snowballing completely out of control, to start the change.

I think German soldiers would end up having to shoot at guys protecting their families and friends from said migrants
They could end up having a serious case of PTSD or be full of guys who are now like Vietnam War Veterans
Also, I think there has to be something to make then remember or realise who’s actually more in danger or causing said danger
Muslims are underdogs by virtue of NOT being worshippers of Christ and NOT being white or even east asian
Oh wait, did you say riot? I’m not sure what could make Muslims do a big riot atm
Also, I don’t think that oktoberfest hundreds of gangrape victims years back resulted in much, hell I think it may result in an increased #NotAll

I think the presence of Muslims, the replacement population, is an OCP to this situation, I mean they actually reproduce by a LOT
Immigration going both in and out of a country is a sort of OCP or an escape or way to delay or confuse the problem of the society. Even moreso when the replacement population doesn't exactly stop coming or doesn't really change or adapt itself.
