Universal Century is the timeline where spacenoids will constantly go nuts and want to take over Earth, even after definitively beating Earthnoids. All giving them the Vengeance will do is cause the atrocities to get worse.

If they can just expand infinitely throughout the galaxy then earth becomes irrelevant to them.

Dr Mckay would literally nutt himself when he gets his hands on Kelvin Timeline Star Trek Federation Tech.

He is more likely to bitch and moan about the inferiority of Trek tech as compared to what he invented himself or whatever the Ancients/Asgard/what have you built.

Also, there is no proof he even likes the Kelvin timeline stuff, as a true Trek nerd he should despise it.

2) They will have their own life-bearing planets to take over.

Earth is basically what the mythical Eden and the actual Jerusalem combined were for the more religious/actual believer crusaders (during the various Crusades). It's not a matter of practicality for them but a near-religious obsession.
