I read through the article a few times... a few things about its story didn't quite make sense in my mind... even after re-readings. Stuff about it being hijacked and the like... I dunno. I'll read it again. :p

Anyways it washed up on the Irish Coast now after being located a thousand miles east of the Caribbean originally during it's original Greece to Haiti voyage.

I love how in the modern day we cannot even immediately find out whether or not the crew was rescued—the sea still cheerfully defies the modern information age.
That seems like a bad journalist problem, not information problem.

The US Coast Guard decided to rescue the 10 crew members from the vessel, which was heading to Haiti from Greece, after it had broken down and had been drifting for 20 days about 1,380 miles (2,220km) south-east of Bermuda in October 2018.

Now I wonder how many other empty ships are out there. Maybe some knowledge of ocean currents would predict where to look. The Gulf Stream probably has much to do with moving something from Bermuda to Ireland.
