Elon Musk gave an interview where he refused to recognize earthly laws in the future colony on Mars, which he plans to establish. A businessman declared this planet free. He stressed that the city needs to be built before the Third World War, which, he hopes, will never happen, but after it, such a chance will definitely be unlikely. Ultimately, the businessman plans to send a million people to the Red Planet by 2050.

I wonder what the planet would look like.

Honestly you would need to set up a mars colony as a legislatively independent city state, regulations made for earth are incompatible with regulations needed for a space colony.

There are also is a very distinct possibility on very stupid tax enforcement decisions that could sink the mission economically unless you decide to use sovereign immunity as a way to refuse property tax on your multi-trillion dollar mars colony.

I actually wouldn't mind living on mars if they managed to get colony's up there.

Voyager 2 keeps on talking. It's expected Voyager 2 will run out of power in the mid-2020's but as for now, despite being 125 AU's or 11.6 billion miles away on it's current 43 year long trip it's still able to communicate with NASA for the time being. It is currently providing the first direct measurements of interstellar plasma temperature and density.

For current updates as to the location of the Voyager 2 and other deep space probes... check this out:

Steak in space!

An Israeli company, Aleph Farms, is starting a new program called Aleph Zero whose goal is to create 'industrial' quantities of lab grown beef and other meats in space.

So many extreme exoplanets out there.

I wonder how the hell the winds on some planets can reach supersonic speeds.

China launched the first Lunar Return mission in forty years. The mission is to drill 2 meters beneath the moon's surface and scoop up about 2 kilograms (4.4 pounds) of rocks and other debris to be brought back to Earth. The last time Lunar rocks were recovered was by unmanned Soviet space probes back in the 1970's and prior to that several hundred pounds of moon rocks were recovered by the various manned US Apollo missions to the Moon.

I will admit I have felt strangely but arbitrarily closer to the center of the universe galaxy. But don't worry, being 1900 light years closer to Sagittarius A, the super massive black hole in the center of our galaxy shouldn't change too much for us here on Earth. We are still over twenty thousand light years away.

Probably.
