There's currently a midweek games sale going on at gog.com

The sale lasts through September 26th with some games up to 86% up. Franchises include Europa Universalis 1-3, Stellaris, Deus Ex and Sniper: Ghost Warrior.

Weekend Sale is of Space and SciFi games up to 90% off.

Notable game series include Warhammer: Gladius, Star Wars, Wing Commander, Homeworld, Warhammer: Armageddon, Sins of a Solar Empire and Masters of Orion.

That's a lot of good old games in very good scifi franchises. (y)

Sega 60th Anniversary Steam Sale. Slashes the price on Sonic games up to 95% and Sonic the Hedgehog 2 is completely free on Steam.

Europa Universalis sale on Steam. EUIV is free to try this weekend and 75% off for the next couple days!

Another gog.com sale.

Metro Exodus, Frostpunk and Divinity: Original Sin at 60% off, Witcher 3 at 70% off, and big sales on Paradox games like Battletech and Europa Universalis, loads of RPG's ranging from Baldurs Gate and Shadowrun to Neverwinter Nights, Wasteland and Icewind Dale and other classic games like Dungeon Keeper, Heroes of Might & Magic, Warcraft and Ultima.

Slitherine/Matrix Games also has sale, so wargame enthusiasts might want to check it out.

Slitherine

Gary Grigsby's War in the East is 70%, Pike and Shot is 76%, Revolution Under Siege and Sanctus Reach are at 75%, Command: Modern Operations is at 30% and so are its DLCs, TOAW IV is 35%....

I kinda wanna give Fantasy General II a try... Any idea if that's a good game?

Looking at the steam reviews, most people like it, but there are some complaints like unfair AI.

Gog.com issued a more comprehensive post covering their many games on sale this Christmas.

Also there's a Nitro Racing Bundle on sale for 98% off. So that's 4.99 instead of... 265 dollars at normal price for a bundle of racing games.

The Steam Lunar Sale is underway from February 11th to February 15th.

Glancing at the front page, it looks like some Call of Duty titles, Hotline Miami 2, and Soul Calibur VI are on deep discounts. And games like Hades have slightly more humble sale prices.

CoD actually has smaller discounts than usual.

The Witcher 3 GOTY is on a historically low $10 sale (usually $15).

Games I'm considering are Witcher 2 & 3, Lego Star Wars Complete Saga, Diorama Builder, Ryse: Son of Rome, and maybe Hades and The Henry Stickmin Collection.

Outside of Steam looking at Heavy Rain or Beyond Two Souls on Humble, and Call of Duty Infinite Warfare Digital Deluxe and Death Stranding on Kinguin.

Just a reminder, this is the time for the GoG.com Summer Sale

World In Conflict is only $2.49.

Sleeping Dogs is $2.99.

Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice is $7.49.

Heroes of Might & Magic III is $2.49.

And much much more... including newish games on sale and video game bundles.

Gotta admit, some of those are tempting my wallet. I used to be really good at World in Conflict. Fortunately I already have HOM&M3.

Do you like it?

Also noticed X-Com: UFO Defense is $1.49. And Sid Meier's Colonization is $1.79!!!

Anachronox is $.97 but I'm still not sure it's worth it. Then again its cheaper then the price of chips from a vending machine so maybe.

I enjoy HoM&M games for the turn based strategy and army building, but I haven't played it in a while. Kinda was looking for an updated version a couple weeks ago.

Wish I heard this earlier but apparently a few games are being delisted from GoG.com at the 'Publishers' request:

It's happening tomorrow and they are currently on sale so... grab them if you want them I suppose!

Anyways here's my GOG.com haul

X-Com: UFO Defense (there was actually a free version of this I played back in the day but... sure I'll buy it)
World in Conflict: Complete Edition
Sid Meier's Colonization
Anachronox
Heroes of Might & Magic III: Complete
Ultima Underworld 1 & 2
Ultima VII
Dungeon Keeper 2
