Trade would be logical, if not prevented by ideological motives. The galactica crew want living space on a hospitable planet, the cyberpunks want FTL and convenient spacecraft engines.
The big problems are, the cyberpunks aren't unified* and the galactica crew are going to be justifiably wary of local AI escaping and/or cylons showing up and taking over everything** and not want the cyberpunks to spread across the galaxy for fear they'd end up getting hijacked by their enemies, vastly increasing the forces against them.
* One big corporation trades land for jumpdrive, then a bunch of street samurai who totally weren't hired by said corporation's rivals show up and start kidnapping people to question upon and/or ransom back for technology.
** Cylons and/or AIs native to cyberpunk earth hijack civilization, either by remote-controlling victims through their implants or controlling automated industries. Cyberpunk earth has enough of both heavily augmented cyborgs and automation that either would give the cylons a colossal boost, especially once they incorporate the new technologies and every single new Centurion is built with designs copied from Adam Smasher's prosthesis.
