The Falklands are Serbian, you cowards.
You know, I actually forgot Richard Dawkins was still out there doing his edgy reddit fedora act. :ROFLMAO:

You know what the worst part is? I've actually read a lot of Dawkins' old "science popularizer" books on evolutionary biology like The Selfish Gene and River out of Eden, and I liked them a lot. Hell, I even liked The God Delusion when it came out, and even though the whole atheism thing didn't really stick past grad school, I'd still call reading it a formative experience at a certain point in my intellectual development. Dawkins is clearly a smart guy, and even though I disagree with him I respect his gumption. But it's become abundantly clear that he's is still fighting the battles of 2005, when the big worry was "creationism" and Ten Commandments monuments at courthouses.

Meanwhile in the real world, public health experts are exempting minorities from the strictest quarantine in 100 years due to MUH RACISM and we're maybe two days away from literal howling mobs pulling down statues of Sir Isaac Newton and the Founding Fathers for being "symbols of white supremacy."

This man has no idea how close he is to the Eye of Sauron falling on him, and it saddens me.

That is how it always is with the dried up revolutionaries, they are still fighting old battles even though the world has moved on, just ignore him and walk on as he tilts at windmills.

I was involved in arguments about atheism vs religion and evolution vs creationism 20 years ago. Sure, Dawkins is very intelligent, but he was still wrong about basically everything. As I recall, e made his name 'defeating' graduates of theology schools in 'debates' about science they were completely unprepared for, and playing to people who already supported his ideology.

His popularity came from the fact that a lot of people wanted God thrown out of the public square, and because he's reasonably charismatic, not because his arguments actually had substance and validity.

Dawkins has in fact refused the challenge when various Christian philosophers wanted to debate him.

One of the USA's biggest mistakes. I'd dare say it was the biggest mistake of every first world nation. Look at what things are like nowadays.

Agreed. I really hate how Christianity is the only religion it's totally fine to take shots at with no fear of retribution.

If celebrities or shows said the exact same things about another religion the media would try and destroy them, but for Christians they'll join right in.

Shows how cowardly they are. If they had any principle, they would attack all religions which only shows that they are not atheists. They just hate Christianity cause probably personal reasons. Pathetic.

I think it's also because it's the "closest" and most "familiar" of religions

Before they even had the thought of criticizing any other religion, they just wanted to bash on what they knew

Everything else is too foreign and not something they know much of

No, no, they are fundamentally cowards. They know, if they insult muslims, they will get beheaded. A modern christian is just going to bear it and offer not much resistance. If atheists knew they risk death everytime they insult Jesus and/or the Lord, they would quit their bullshit real quick.
