If there's more genders than just two then if someone in entertainment made an afterlife setting they would take that into account. As an example someone died and a psycopomp took them in for processing and then when getting out the soul's details of their gender they start getting twitchy and use all those confusing pronouns that confuse the afterlife bureaucracy?
