nah. It's more "I don't understand your life and don't care to consider it for a moment"

like, the closest I've gotten to "rural" is "suburban" and I still get, intellectually, why gun ownership is going to be a bigger, more important, deal for rural communities than urban ones.

I await the day when "Rural Communities" suddenly have to deal with either crazy hipster environmentalists invading their farms or illegal migrants who aren't even getting employed somehow trying to get a farm sold to them cheap by force. Only, they have lots of guns and threaten to shoot back.

MSM then tries depicting them all as a bunch of White Supremacists, only turns out the farm heads even include a black guy without a ghetto accent or had moved over years back and managed to make a proper living and hates that guys from the city are coming in to mess shit up.
