I tried talking about it to guys on reddit

Guys on AskScienceFiction all fucking hate her and when I tried explaining even the basics of her philosophy they kept on thinking only about money and being a heartless bastard and such

I think even if no one commented and did downvotes, guys there were kinda shocked about the premise of Anthem and how that “selfless” society was essentially having BOTH its males and females repeatedly raped in a breeding program my classmate would have praised alongside the taking away of children to be raided by the state and forbidding even friendships
