French King Charles VIII doesn't invade Italy in 1494

What if French King Charles VIII would not have invaded Italy in 1494? Among other things, this would mean no Italian Wars (see here: Italian Wars - Wikipedia) and possibly no several years of Girolamo Savonarola's religious fundamentalist dictatorship in Florence (1494-1498), but what else?

One additional thing that might be worth keeping in mind is that Charles VIII could end up living much longer in this TL since him hitting his head on the lintel of a door and thus dying from this might be completely butterflied away in this TL.

Was there ever the chance for an epic Crusade without conquering Italy... or whatever it was that French madlad had in mind?

I think that he was more interested in asserting France's dynastic claims than in launching any new Crusades, to be honest.

If you want a new Crusade, have Henry V of England live for an additional several decades, have him conquer all of France, and then have him save Constantinople in 1453 or something like that.
